APPARATUS AND METHOD OF FACSIMILE DATA PARTIAL SENDING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A facsimile document partial transmit apparatus is provided to allow a user to transmit a desired part when a document is transmitted by a facsimile. CONSTITUTION: A facsimile having a facsimile document partial transmit apparatus(1) includes a controller(2) for controlling the facsimile. An input unit(3) inputs a range of a document to be transmitted and receives a facsimile control command by a user. A step motor unit(4) includes a step motor for transferring the document inserted into the facsimile and transfers the amount of rotation of the step motor to the controller(2). A scanner unit(5) sequentially scans the document transferred by the step motor unit(4) to generate scan data(12) being digital images of the scanned document. A scan data control unit(6) passes/limits the scan data(12) generated in the scanner unit(5) by a scan data control signal(11) generated from the controller(2) to output them to a memory(7). The memory(7) stores the scan data(12) passed by the scan data control unit(6). A modem unit(8) transmits the scan data(12) stored at the memory(7) to a public switched telephone network(9).
