METHOD OF AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING MOLTEN MATERIALS

In a molten material pelleting process involving injecting an expansion liq. into the melt and fragmenting and dispersing the expanded material towards a reception area: (a) the polluted off-gas is collected and scrubbed; (b) the liq. flowing from the pelleting operation is collected; (c) this liq. is treated together with the used scrubbing liq.; and (d) the liquids are recirculated to the expansion and scrubbing steps. Also claimed is an installation for carrying out the above process.
