PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control spoilage to the extremely low level by comparing the measured deviation of a register mark with a preset allowable value thereof, stopping the variation of speed of papers and performing registering when the deviation is judged t be out of the range of allowable value. SOLUTION: In the case the absolute value of deviation is judged more than an allowable value during the accelerating operation, an instruction for stopping the acceleration is transmitted to a printing speed controller 10 by a color registering controller 11. A motor 7 driving respective units in a printing section 4 is controlled to control the movement of various devices of rollers in respective units so that papers 1 are moved at the given speed. After the application of the above control, the registering operation for setting the deviation measured through a color registering device 9 at 0(zero) and the deviation measurement by a color register sensor 8 are repeated by a color registering controller 11. When the deviation is confirmed to be 0(zero), the accelerating operation is restarted by the controller 11. |
