摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the running enable distance by conducting the feedback control to keep the air-fuel ratio of air-fuel mixture at a target air fuel ratio using a computed air fuel ratio feedback coefficient, and adding a spark advance component to the ignition timing of an internal combustion engine when the state where the fuel residual quantity is a designated value or less continues for a designated time. SOLUTION: An O2 sensor 17 on the engine 1 side is an O2 sensor with a heater, and it is raised to the active temperature early by the power supplied from a battery to exhibit its detecting function more early. A regulator 8, a pressure sensor 11, an ignition plug 13 and the O2 sensors 17, 18 are connected to an electronic control unit 19 for totally controlling the operation of the engine 1. The opening and closing of the fuel cutoff valve in the regulator 8 are conducted according to an open and close signal from the electronic control signal 19. The electronic control unit 19 calculates the optimum values of the fuel injection quantity, ignition timing and the opening and closing time of a suction and exhaust valve according to the output from every kind of sensors, and according to the values, the engine 1 is controlled.
