The device is for cleaning a toilet basin, particularly for the removal of persistant residual fecal matter remaining after a flushing process and uses a spray pistol or spray head (3) with concentrated water jet, which is suspended on a wall or a cistern. Also used is a flexible hose (2), which by means of a T-piece (1) is connected directly to a water feed pipe of the toilet cistern or a special water feed pipe on the wall.
