AUTOMATICALLY OPENING/CLOSING UMBRELLA OF MULTISTAGE FOLDING TYPE REDUCING LENGTH BY SIMPLE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure and to reduce a length by elastically energizing a lower latch so as to position between a push button and the locking head of a locking head means when opening an umbrella and positioning the lower latch under the push button when closing the umbrella. SOLUTION: After closing an umbrella and compressing a spring for opening 3, a lower latch 54 and a safety spring member 57 are operationally lowered by the lower extended tube 230 of a lower runner 23 and positioned under a push button 51 so as to prevent erroneously pressing of a controller for closing 52 by the push button when opening the umbrella. The member 57 is vertically fixed to the bottom of the center of the latch 54 and is elastically energized upward by a spring 572 held inside of the front chamber 121a of a grip 12 to normally position the latch 54 between the button 51 and a locking head 551.
