METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NEUTRALIZATION TREATMENT OF EXHAUST GAS DRAIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for the neutralizing treatment of a drain by alkaline ion water for the purpose of preventing the deterioration of a building or environmental pollution caused by an acidic drain generated from exhaust gas or the drain generated in a combustion device equipped with a heat exchanger for recovering latent heat. SOLUTION: Water is electrolyzed by using an electrolytic water making means and a drain is neutralized by formed alkaline ion water and acidic ion water simultaneously formed by electrolysis is refluxed to the electrolytic water making means to be reused in electrolysis. A drain neutralizing treatment apparatus 10 consists of a water supply means, an electrolytic water making means 11 for electrolyzing water to make alkaline ion water 16 and acidic ion water 17, a means for mixing alkaline ion water 16 with a drain to discharge the drain and a means for temporarily storing acidic ion water 17 to reflux the same to the electrolytic water making means.
