PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover phosphorus and hydroxyapatite from waste water containing phosphorus in high concn. such as a separated soln. of a digestion tank. SOLUTION: A waste water treatment apparatus is equipped with a bottomed cylindrical reaction tank 1 of which the bottom surface is formed into a funnel shape, two large and small diameter cylindrical bodies 2, 3 provided in the reaction tank 1, the waste water inflow part 4 provided to the upper part of the inner peripheral part of the large diameter cylindrical part 2, a calcium compd. supply part 5, a pH control agent supply part 6, a stirrer 7 having stirring blades 7a generating descending streams in the small diameter cylindrical body 3, the product discharge part 8 and classifying water supply part 9 provided to the bottom portion of the reaction tank 1 and the treated water discharge part 9 provided to the upper part of the reaction tank 1.
