FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to production of iron shaped castings. It can be implemented in agricultural machine building at production of laying-in of fodder, loading, transporting and other process equipment. Iron contains, wt %: carbon 2.6-3.5; silicon 1.4-2.4; manganese 0.7-1.0; aluminium 0.05-0.15; calcium 0.003-0.008; magnesium 0.01-0.05; cerium 0.02-0.08; sulphur 0.05-0.15; phosphorus -0.08-0.2; iron - the rest. Summary contents of carbon and silicon do not exceed 5.0%; summary contents of sulphur and phosphorus do not exceed 0.3%; ratio of magnesium contents to sulphur is not less, than 6.5. ^ EFFECT: iron possesses high physical-mechanical and process properties, decreased tendency to brittle fracture, high resistance to impact and prolonged cyclic loading; and therefore it possesses high operational reliability. ^ 2 tbl |
