PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate intake interference within a cylinder and to aim at high swirling. SOLUTION: In this multivalve intake engine, a plurality of intake ports are provided per cylinder, the intake port of a swirl direction upstream side and the downstream side intake port of the intake ports are made into a helical port 2 and a tangential port, respectively, and a valve guide boss within the helical port 2 is eliminated. As a result, outflow streams of both the ports become a swirl direction, intake interference is eliminated, and the helical port 2 is drawn to a valve stem 18 side of an intake valve 17. When a valve guide 16 within the helical port 2 is eliminated, the helical port 2 is further drawn. When the tangential port is made a straight tangential port, intake resistance is reduced.
