PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile steering wheel having an airbag module including a skeleton sealed in foam, generator support connected to the skeleton, and a covering cap attached to the generator support, the covering cap being designed as an actuating device for generating hone signals. SOLUTION: This steering wheel has at least two recesses 3 provided in the foam casing 1 of a steering wheel skeleton 2 and generator support 4 is provided with insert pins 5 corresponding to the recesses. The axes 6, 7 of the pins are aligned in parallel with the steering wheel axis 8 and the pins serve to center a covering cap 9 relative to the foam casing 1 of the steering wheel skeleton 2 within a plane perpendicular to the steering wheel axis 8.
