SILICONE RUBBER COMPOSITION, ITS PRODUCTION AND HEATER ROLL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone rubber composition having characteristics such as high thermal conductivity, heat resistance and low permanent compression set and low hardness and capable of providing a heater roll capable of obtaining stable retaining property for a long period when utilized as a heater roll. SOLUTION: This silicone rubber composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane of the formula R1aSiO(4-a)/2 (R1 are same kind or different kind of unsaturated or saturated monovalent hydrocarbon groups; (a) is an integer of 1.90-2.05) with (B) 50-700 pts.wt. baked zinc oxide having 1-50μm average particle diameter and 1.0-4.0 g/cc bulk density and obtained by baking zinc hydroxide or zinc carbonate granulated by a wet method at 600-1,800 deg.C or zinc oxide or obtained by baking zinc oxide prepared by American method or French method at 800-1,800 and (C) a catalytic amount of curing agent.
