PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle stitching folding machine for reducing a cost with a simple constitution by saving a space. SOLUTION: When a drive motor 5 provided at a binding unit 1 is rotated, a crankshaft 6, crank arms 9a, 9b are cooperatively operated through a transmission mechanism having a belt 7, and lower coupling portions 10a 10b coupled by a crank pin 6b move downward. Thus, crank rods 13a, 13b move downward through a coupling mechanism. In this case, stitchers 2a, 2b are moved down, and sheet bundles placed on lower bearers 16a, 16b are saddle stitched. Elevation blocks 17a to 17b are raised cooperativeily with the rods 13a, 13b, and the bundles are creased simultaneously when saddle stitching by creasing blades 19a to 19c respectively provided at fixed blocks 18a to 18c. |
