PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refining method of an Al alloy which can execute the refining in a highly reduced level as for degassing and the removal of inclusion, and a non-halogen base flux for refining molten Al alloy. SOLUTION: The flux containing azodicarbonamide is blown into the molten Al or Al alloy by using an inert gas as the carrier gas to execute the degassing and the removal of slag from the molten metal, and the molten metal is supplied into a mold from a melting furnace through a molten metal flowing trough to execute casting. Further, the non-halogen base flux for refining the molten Al alloy is made to include the azodicarbonamide.
