PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a black streak in a joining region while increasing a recording speed by correcting a recording signal value corresponding to the magnitude of the total recording signal value of respective recording signal values supplied corresponding to the respective recording heads of the recording region of at least one of adjacent front and rear joining regions. SOLUTION: A raster 1 most approaches the raster 256 of a final number of the region to be previously recorded (front scanning recording region) in adjacent front and rear scanning recording regions E1, E2 to set a count value to 1. A total signal value is calculated from recording signal values Y[IN], M[IN], C[IN], K[IN] of respective colors of yellow, magenta, cyan and black according to Y[IN]+M[IN]+C[IN]+K[IN]. A correction signal value increases and decreases within the ranges of respective threshold values or less provided to respective correction curves of rasters 1-4 with an increase and decrease in the total signal value and, within the ranges of the threshold values or more, the correction signal value is set so as to decrease and increase. |
