PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the resisting force of a horizontal plane of structure against a horizontal force by saving labor and time when dropping a floor joist-receiving member when installing a barrier-free type floor while restricting cracks in floor joist-receiving member caused by driving an excessive amount of nails. SOLUTION: A floor joist-receiving member 14 having a notch 15 made almost to a rectangular shape in cross section with a depth almost the same as the height of the floor joist 6 is attached to the side surface of a ground sill 1, the end portion of the floor joist 6 is placed on the bottom face 15a of the notched portion 15 in such a manner that the top face of the floor joist 6 becomes almost flush with the top face of the floor joist-receiving member 14, a floor backing member 7 is placed on the top surface of the floor joist receiving member 14 and the top surface of the floor joist 6, and the end portion of the floor backing member 7 is fixed to the top surface of the floor joist- receiving member 14 with nails 16, 16.
