PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of making livestock such as cattle or a horse or a pet such as a dog brush an itchy site by itself when the body is felt itchy. SOLUTION: This brushing device 2 is obtained by installing a sensor 3 in the upper part of the brushing device 2 and is capable of sensing the body temperature of an animal 1 with infrared rays, operating a motor 5 with a magnet 4, positively moving a shaking arm 8 and making a vertical brush 9 perform a reciprocating and rotating motion at about 90 deg., transmitting the reciprocating and rotating motion even to a horizontal brush 12 and forming the horizontal brush 12 into a link mechanism 22 of a structure shaking with freely rotatably held pivots 19 and 20, the horizontal brush 12 and arms 15 and 16. The link mechanism 22 is capable of adjusting the own weight at the time of shaking with a spring 23 and the arm 15 is brought into contact with a stopper plate 24 to regulate the shaking range of the horizontal brush 12.
