SOLUTION: This termite exterminator comprises a pair of counter electrodes 2 that are arranged in opposition to each other at a prescribed interval on the base material 1 of the building and a high-voltage power supply 3 for applying a high voltage to these electrodes. The high-voltage power supply 3 applies an intense electric field to between the counter electrodes to inhibit termites from passing through.
