METHOD FOR REUTILIZING EFFLUENT IN REGENERATION OF ION EXCHANGE RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reutilize NaCl contained in the effluent in regeneration produced in the regeneration of an anion exchange resin with salt water for regenerating the anion exchange resin after use in the removal of nitrate or nitrite nitrogen in water as well as to prevent the discharge of NaNO3, NaNO2 and NaCl contained in the effluent into the environment. SOLUTION: Nitrate nitrogen removal treatment 4 for removing nitrate nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen in the effluent 2 in the regeneration of an anion exchange resin and sulfate ion removal treatment 10 for removing sulfate ions in the effluent are carried out and the resultant treated effluent 14 containing residual chloride ions is utilized for regenerating the anion exchange resin.
