PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain vibration and impact noise by a water hammer phenomenon without using a sheath pipe by inserting one pipe end into a joint by separating a shock absorbing layer of one pipe end of a pipe main body, and loosening and cutting a water supply pipe wound in a coil shape up to becoming the required length. SOLUTION: A separable shock absorbing layer 12 is laminated on the outer periphery of a pipe main body 11. While, a female screw is arranged in a branch pipe 2 arranged on a header 1. Next, a male screw is arranged in one of a joint, and a fastening ring 4 and a fitting part 5 fitted to the main body 11 are arranged in the other to fit an O ring 6. The male screw of the joint is threadedly engaged with the branch pipe 2 arranged on the header 1. While, a water supply pipe 10 is fitted between the fastening ring 4 and the fitting part 5 for fitting the O ring 6. In this case, the shock absorbing layer 12 on one pipe end of the water supply pipe 10 is separated. Next, the water supply pipe 10 is cut after being loosened to the required length. The shock absorbing layer 12 is colored by being classified by color to thereby restrain vibration and impact noise as well as to prevent the erroneous connection for water supply and hot-water supply.
