PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose a key device in a simple constitution, and reduce cost as a whole system in cases using plural key devices for a single electronic key. SOLUTION: A power source part 3-9 is provided in an electronic key 3. A power source part is not provided in a key device 4. A discrimination code #B which is the same as the discrimination code #B written in a memory part 4-4 of the key device 4 is written in a memory part 3-4 of the electronic key 3. In setting the electronic key 3 onto the key device 4, power is supplied from the electronic key 3 to the key device 4, the discrimination code #B sent from the key device 4 is collated with the discrimination code #B in the memory part 3-4 based on the supplied power, and when they coincide with each other, a key lock release signal is sent from the electronic key 3 to the key device 4.
