PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unfavorable changes such as volatilization or polymerization of a pyrroline compound and obtain a stable odorless composition by compounding a 2-position-substituted 5-membered-ring nitrogen compound and an organic acid as effective ingredients. SOLUTION: A 2-position-substituted 5-membered-ring nitrogen compound of the formula in an amount of 0.01-10 wt.% is dissolved in a water-miscible solvent (e.g. methanol, ethanol, glycerol, propylene glycol, carbitol, diacetin, triacetin or sorbit). The resultant solution is mixed with a solution prepared by dissolving 0.5-10 wt.% organic acid in a water-miscible organic solvent. The amount of the 2-position- substituted 5-membered-ring nitrogen compound and the organic acid compounded into a perfume composition is 0.1-10 wt.% of the perfume composition. In the formula, R is H, a 1-3C alkyl or a 1-2C acyl; and the broken line means a single bond or the absence of a bond provided that, when the broken line at the 1-position is a single bond, then each of the broken lines at 2- and 4-positions means the absence of the bond and that, when the broken line at the 1-position means the absence of a bond, then each of the broken lines at the 2- and 4-positions means a single bond or the absence of a bond. |
