PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die which can surely take out a formed product flowing into a chill vent to outside of the die at the taking out time of the product and easily machines a chill block. SOLUTION: This die is composed of a fixed die 12 and a movable die 13 and in both dies, a cavity (not shown in this figure) for forming the die molded product (die casted product) and the chill vent 5 for venting the gas in the cavity, are arranged. The chill vent 5 is formed from one pair of chill blocks 50, 53 disposed in the fixed die and the movable die. The chill vent 5 is arranged in a zigzag state between wavy faced walls 6 composed of plural projecting parts 61 arranged to each of the chill blocks 52, 53. At the top parts of the projecting parts 61 on the wavy faced walls, in at least a part thereof, a cut off part 65 is arranged, and the cut-off parts 65 are formed on at least one side of the chill blocks 52, 53. |
