PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connecting structure for a base isolation building frame capable of displaying a base isolation function perfectly by flexibly following movement at the time of earthquake, strong in secular distortion and maintenance-free for a long period of time and its construction method. SOLUTION: Connecting structure for this base isolation building frame is to arrange a gasket 3 on an upper surface of a building base part 1 and to bury a sliding member 5 on a lower surface of a base building frame 4 of an upper part base isolation building 2 to make contact with the gasket 3, and its construction is to fix the gasket 3 by a arranging a groove type member on the upper surface of the building base part 1, to set a formwork to construct the base building frame 4 on foundations of clearance setting members interposed on both sides of the gasket 3 thereafter, to arrange the sliding member 5 to make contact with the gasket 3 in a pressurizing state on the formwork and to deposit concrete of the base building frame 4.
