PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a facing member for a building sill section or the like, in which the deformation and damage can be avoided easily in the case of removal at the time of reform of a building and which is reused easily. SOLUTION: The facing member 10 for the building sill section or the like is composed of a rail 30 fixed to a building foundation material by nailing or the like, a cover member 40 freely mounted and demounted to the rail 30 and arranged so as to cover the lower edge sections of the sill section and overhang section of the building under the state, in which the cover member is installed to the rail 30, and a bottom plate member 50 detachable to the cover member 40.
