The hand piece (10) has an ultrasound generator with a casing (12). A sonotrode passes through the casing and is coupled to the ultrasound generator at one end and to a resonance coupling body (18) of a work piece (20) at the other end. A cover part (16) with at least one wall opening is fixed to the casing and at least partly surrounds the coupling body.
