<p>Optical switch comprises a light guide receiving the input light. The light guide has a light output surface and guides the received input light to this light output surface, where the light exits from the light guide. An optical element is provided having a light receiving surface and a viewing surface. The optical element is positioned such that the light receiving surface receives the light that exits from the light output surface. A reservoir is provided containing an at least partially transparent fluid, said fluid can at least partially be positioned between the light output surface and the light receiving surface. Means are provided for mutual movement of the light output surface and the light receiving surface.</p> |
