<p>The present invention is a skimmer mechanism (10) for attachment to a moveable wastewater treatment mechanism (13) in a wastewater tank (81). The skimmer mechanism (10) includes a connector (12A, 12B, 20) for attachment to the moveable wastewater treatment mechanism (13), a connecting shaft (64A and 64B) pivotally attached to the connector (12A, 12B, 20), and an activating blade arm (26A, 26B) attached to the connecting shaft (64A, 64B). A skimmer blade apparatus (48) is attached to one end of the activating blade arm (26A, 26B), and an activating mechanism (46) is attached to the other end of the activating blade arm (24A, 24B). Further, an engagement mechanism (50, 52) is attached to the wastewater tank (81). In use, the activating mechanism (46) engages the engagement mechanism (50, 52) and raises and lowers the skimmer blade apparatus (48) from and to a wastewater surface in a wastewater tank (81).</p> |
