The corn thresher has a cleaning system to separate corn from chopped straw material and chaff with a sieve box (2) coupled to an oscillating mechanism (11,12,12'16) to oscillate on one axis, and a further mechanism (14,15,15',17) for oscillation on another axis. The second mechanism (14,15,15',17) gives a clear vertical oscillation coupled with the one-axis oscillation from the first mechanism (11,12,12',16). The coupling between the oscillating mechanisms is a mechanical angular gearing.
