<p>The method involves providing, in the conveyor line (1), a drop in level (2) the height of which is correlated with the height of the stacks of articles (A) to be formed. For each stack of articles, the advancing movement of at least a first article downstream of the drop in level is prevented so as to allow at least a second article to fall and to be stacked on the first article. Upon completion of the stack, the stacked articles are allowed to advance along the conveyor line again. An independent claim is included for a device for stacking articles.</p> |
