<p>A sanitary napkin 1 has an absorbent core 4 convexly curved upward and the absorbent core 4 is provided on its lower side with a pad 12 adapted to hold a curved shape of the absorbent core 4. The pad 12 is formed on its upper side with a plurality of projections 21 and a continuous trough 22 so that the projections 21 are bonded to the lower side of the absorbent core 4 and the trough forms a continuous tunnel 26 between the absorbent core 4 and the pad 12. The pad 12 thus formed improves a breathability of the sanitary napkin during its use. <IMAGE></p> |
