PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device on which backgammon can be played as routes are formed freely by arranging a plurality of intermediate game cards between a start game card and a goal game card which are approximately hexagonal, for interconnecting squares. SOLUTION: This game device 1 comprises a start game card A, a plurality of intermediate game cards C to R, and goal game card B. The start game card A and the goal game card B comprise respective card bodies A0, B0 each formed in an approximately hexagonal shape, and approximately hexagonal areas (a), (b) consisting of sides approximately parallel to the sides of the card bodies A0, B0 are formed at approximately the centers of the card bodies A0, B0. A square is formed between at least two sides of each of the card bodies A0, B0 and at least two sides of the corresponding areas (a), (b). The plurality of intermediate game cards C to R are each formed with a plurality of squares from one side to the other.
