PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic halogen gas decomposing device to perform decomposition treatment in a dispersed manner of organic halogen gas, and have a small size and high efficiency. SOLUTION: This decomposing device comprises an air-fuel mixture feed part 5 situated in a combustion chamber 6 and feeding air-fuel mixture of fuel and air; a catalyst 7 for combustion situated in the combustion chamber 6; an organic halogen gas decomposing chamber 15 situated in a state to make contact with the combustion chamber 6; an organic halogen gas feed part situated in the organic halogen gas decomposing chamber 15 and feeding organic halogen gas; a catalyst body 16 for decomposing organic halogen gas situated in the organic halogen gas decomposing chamber 15; and an exhaust port 18 situated at the organic halogen gas decomposing chamber 15.
