摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with circulation for obtaining data and to accurately heighten range resolution by controlling the directing direction of antenna beams to observe the same observation area a plurality of times. SOLUTION: A synthetic aperture radar(SAR) unit 1 is mounted on an artificial satellite or an aircraft and composed of a transmitter 11, an antenna 12, a receiver 13 and an SAR control part 14 for electrically controlling the beam directing direction of the antenna 12 and each SAR part. After making a first observation, the directing direction of antenna beams is electrically controlled and changed, and the same observation area is observed again. This is repeated a plurality of times, and finally SAR regenerative processing is performed by an SAR regenerative processing unit 2 on the basis of each observation data. The SAR regenerative processing unit 2 may be mounted on the artificial satellite or aircraft or installed on the ground. Time required to obtain data is therefore shortened, and a regenerated image uninfluenced by the change of an observed object is obtained.</p>
