<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable formation of liquefied vapors by, if necessary, further thermally decomposing molten plastics having been subjected to dechlorination treatment or quick recovery of the dechlorination treated waste plastics by feeding the molten plastics to waste plastic recovery equipment. SOLUTION: A waste plastic treatment apparatus has screw feeders 12 for heat melting waste plastics and removing chlorine from the molten plastics, a melting vessel 13, and a waste plastic feeding mechanism 13 connected to the melting vessel 13 through a vertical connecting pipe 18. The waste plastic feeding mechanism 21 selectively feeds the molten plastics to thermal decomposition equipment 23 or waste plastic recovery equipment 27. The molten plastics fed to the thermal decomposition equipment 23 is further heated and decomposed to form liquefied vapors, and a liquefied fuel is prepared. The waste plastics fed to the waste plastic recovery equipment 27 is recovered as a fuel.</p> |
