PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate confirmation when a conduit is installed or inspected by setting a confirmation window for confirming a butt part of pipes to a socket joint connecting the pipes. SOLUTION: For example, when the level meter is to be set to a tank T, a pipe 4 of a conduit 2 is primarily inserted to one connection opening of a socket joint 3, the other pipe 4 is inserted to the other connection opening, and the pipes 4 are connected with each other. The connection is sequentially carried out in a longitudinal direction, whereby the conduit 2 is constituted of a plurality of pipes 4 connected by the socket joints 3. A guide groove 10 of a predetermined width (m) and a predetermined length is notched from one side of the socket joint 3, thereby forming a confirmation window 10. Two guide grooves 10 are set opposite to each other on a circumference of the socket joint 3 to confirm a butt part P of the pipes 4. Since the confirmation window 10 enabling the butt part P to be confirmed is provided, whether or not the pipes 4 are connected at the butt part P in a range of an accuracy strictly required for the conduit 2 can be visually easily confirmed. |
