PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device in which miniature circuit constitution can be obtained with simple work independently of capacity. SOLUTION: Plural blocks provided with circuits 103-106 judging states of a status flag 102 and a storage circuit 101 are connected in series. Access is performed successively by the status flag 102 of each blocks, and a whole state of a storage device is indicated by integrating states of each storage circuit 101. As it can be performed by only setting the number of connected blocks in accordance with reauired capacity and complex calculation is not required, a storage device can be easily designed. As a read-out position and a write-in position are judged by states of front and rear status flags, a pointer for write-in and a pointer for read-out can be substituted by a series of status flag 102 and circuit constitution can be simplified.
