PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce production cost by simplifying the structure and detect the rotation displacement of rotation axis with high resolution. SOLUTION: A rotation sensor 1 is provided with a rotor 3 fixed on a rotation shaft 2 and rotating with the rotation shaft 3, and magnetic detectors 4 and 5 arranged face to face to the rotor 3 and detecting magnetic field change due to the rotation of the rotor 3. The rotor 3 is formed in a disk shape by using a magnetic material and the center O1 of the diameter is fixed to be different from the axis center O2 of the rotation shaft 2. When the rotation shaft 2 rotates, the distances between the outer surface of the rotor 3 and the magnetic detectors 4 and 5 vary and the magnetic field impressed in the Hall elements 6a and 6b of the magnetic detectors 4 and 5 varies. By this, the output signals of the magnetic detectors 4 and 5 vary in sine wave, based on the output signal, the rotation position of the rotation shaft 2 is detected.
