PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an appreciating effect by generating a smell according to the content when appreciating screen image software, by providing a powdery smell material element capable of generating various smells by mixing and synthesis, decoding a discriminating signal prerecorded on the screen image software, and generating an optional smell. SOLUTION: Plural kinds of powdery smell essences 1... are respectively housed in glass or plastic vessels 2, a pipe 3 for taking out the essences 1 in the respective vessels 2 is connected to a bottom part of the respective vessels 2, and a carrying spring 4 for taking out the essences 1 is housed in the pipe 3. The carrying spring 4 is rotated by rotation of step motors, and powder is taken out by a prescribed quantity to a pan by the rotation to be mixed. The respective step motors are controlled in driving according to a smell discriminating signal prestored in a screen image software. Essence powder mixed by the pan is inputted to and dissolved in solution 8 to generate a required smell.
