PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce data divided and recorded in plural recording mediums in real time while keeping the continuity. SOLUTION: A control part 6, a display part 12, a storage part 7, and a recording and reproducing part 14 are provided. When reproducing is indicated, information in prescribed areas of recording mediums are read before actual reproducing processing, and it is discriminated whether prescribed data is divided and recorded in plural recording mediums or not. If it is discriminated that data is divided and recorded in plural recording mediums, data recorded in a first area as the latter side in the data area read order of a recording medium is preliminarily read and is written in the storage part 7, and thereafter, reproducing processing is performed. At the timing when the reproducing position reaches the first area, reproducing is switched to reproducing of data preliminarily written in the storage part 7 to continuously perform the processing, and an indication to prompt a user to replace the recording medium with another following recording medium is displayed on a display part 12 in parallel with this reproducing switching processing. |
