PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency by transmitting optical data in advance, without interfering with other manufacturing units, before an unmanned transfer car arrives at a data passing position, in a transfer system for transferring an article to be transferred to a manufacturing unit by an unmanned transfer car. SOLUTION: An optical data transmission device 11, mounted on an unmanned transfer car and a manufacturing unit, has a light projector 12a and a light receiver 12b, each of which has a wide area for projecting/receiving light for transmitting data during a time elapsed starting from prior to the arrival until the arrival of the unmanned transfer car, an ID storage means 13a for setting self-ID, an ID addition device 13b for adding a prescribed ID to a transmission data, a selecting means 13c for taking only the data having a prescribed ID from the received data. Adding the prescribed ID to the transmission data prevents interference with other units. |
