PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of a compression gas from a corner, in a scroll lap. SOLUTION: In a scroll compressor storing the motor and the pump connected to the motor in a sealed case, having a spiral lap on each mirror plate of the fixed scroll 10 and turning scroll 13 for constituting the pump and in which a compression chamber is constituted by biting respective laps together, the center part of the bottom surface between the laps of at least either oneside of the scrolls is formed in a hollow shape. Thereby, the lubricant stored in the hollow 300 of the bottom surface center is shifted to the side surface side by a viscosity and centrifugal force at the top surface of the scroll lap of the mutually meshed partner side and the space of the corner between the bottom surface and side surface is sealed and the leakage of the compression gas is reduced and an efficient scroll compressor can be realized.
