PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging type container wherein a hanging section is hard to break, therefore, which becomes advantageous in the increasing of a commodity value, and also, of which the buidling up can be easily performed as well. SOLUTION: This hanging type container is constituted of a container 14 and a hanging member 16. When a commodity is housed, after the commodity is inserted in the container main body 22 from the upper end opening, an internal lid piece 1830 is bent from a folding line 1814, and the upper end opening is closed. Then, a section closer to the tip end than a folding line 1835 of the internal lid piece 1830 is slightly bent downward with the folding line 1835 as a border, and an insertion groove 1832 is faced thereto, and the hanging member 16 makes the hanging section 1604 face upward, and both sides in the longitudinal direction of a base plate section 1602 are respectively inserted in the insertion grooves 1832. Then, the upper end opening is closed by an external lid piece 1840, and an insertion piece 1842 is inserted on the internal surface of the front surface of the container main body 22. Then, an insertion piece 1820 is rocked, and inserted in an insertion groove 1846.
