PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an overflapped state when a corrugated cardboard box is assembled. SOLUTION: A rear stage of a folding mechanism 1 for folding an outer flap 4b is provided with an overflap preventing mechanism 2. The overflap preventing mechanism 2 has a pressing member 20 for striking abutted portions of two outer flaps 4b folded in advance by the folding mechanism 1. The abutted portions are struck by a pressing member 20 while a corrugated cardboard box 4 is being transported by a transferring means 5, thereby the outer flaps 4b are folded while being pushed and expanded, resulting in that the outer flaps 4b are prevented from being overflapped. Rollers that can be rotated in a transferring direction of the cardboard box 4 constitute the pressing member 20.
