PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic conversion element enabled in low voltage driving and reduced in histeresis and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic conversion element 100 is equipped with a piezoelectric element portion 110 provided with a piezoelectric membrane 103 having a perovskite crystal structure and showing electromechanical conversion action and a magnetic element portion 120 provided with a magnetic film 106 showing a magnetomechanical conversion action converting the strain change generated in the piezoelectric element portion 110 to a change of magnetic permeability.
