The following description refers to a method and a diagnostic kit for the identification of atherogenic apo(a) isoforms. The method consists in an electrophoretic run of samples to be tested and of a mixture of standards, the transfer (by blotting) of migrated proteins onto an appropriate membrane, and the immunologic identification of apo(a)isoforms.
