PURPOSE:To prevent an excretory liq. from leakage by constituting the title sheet of a web of continuous filaments of a hydrophobic synthetic fiber, providing a difference in the fiber arrangement in the longitudinal and transverse directions and bonding partly the fiber by means of thermocompression bonding. CONSTITUTION:A top sheet of a disposable diaper consists of continuous filaments of a hydrophobic synthetic fiber and by providing a difference in the fiber arrangement in the longitudinal and transverse directions and making the arrangement in the longitudinal direction where tension is especially loaded to be predominant, spreading is prevented in the direction where the spreading should be trouble. In addition, it is possible to suppress spreading of the liq. in a specified direction by placing pinpoint embosses 5 in a zigzag shape by thermocompression-bonding, partly fibers in the web at parts 6 or placing longitudinal line embosses 7 by preparing linearly thermocompression-bonded parts 8 each with a width of W2 at a pitch of W1 in the longitudinal direction of the web. It is thereby possible to prevent completely an excretory liq. from leakage as a disposable diaper. |
