PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembling property and operability by forming an adjustment mechanism as a module, by which a lower runner 24 is locked in the case of folding and the lock is cancelled when an umbrella is opened. SOLUTION: A restoring spring 54 elastically holds a part between a mobile latch member 52 and a latch holder 53 and is adjacent to the second side of a center shaft. The latch member 52 is always energized. Therefore, a press button 51 which is elastically brought into contact with the member 52 is protruded outward from the button hole part 122 of a hand side 12 toward a first side and the press button 51 is depressed when the umbrella is opened. The button 51 is provided with an extension disk part 511 which is formed at the end part being brought into contact with the member 52. Moreover, when the disk part 511 is energized toward the first side of the center shaft by the member 52 which is restored by the spring 54, an outward motion is shut off on the inner wall of the button hole part 122 at the hand side 12.
