PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear fuel rod selecting and arraying device capable of automatically selecting reinspection objects of nuclear fuel rods, extracting, returning and reinspecting and rearranging in the original order of array. SOLUTION: An arraying device has a pre-inspection table for arranging nuclear fuel rods prior to inspection provided in one side of a nuclear fuel rod moving scanner, two stages of a post inspection table 5 arranged in the same side as the pre-inspection table against the nuclear fuel rod moving scanner for selectively arraying nuclear fuel rods after inspection, two stages of return waiting table 6 for putting the nuclear fuel rods selected and arrayed adjacent to the post inspection table 5, a return line 7 arranged on the line connecting the return waiting table 6 and a nuclear fuel rod reception/extraction table for supplying the pre-inspection table 5 with nuclear fuel rods, and a selecting device for electing good or bad of the nuclear fuel rods after the inspection by the judged result of a processor processing the inspection data of nuclear fuel rods and recording the inspection results. It returns nuclear fuel rods needed for repeated inspection for reinspection and the nuclear fuel rods after reinspection are returned into the array of the original nuclear fuel rod array so as to line on the original order.
