PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the temperature of an objective fluid with high accuracy by providing a hollow post disposed in the gas flow of a turbo machine with a gas through hole penetrating the front and rear edges in the vicinity of a temperature sensing part. SOLUTION: The temperature measuring apparatus disposed on the upstream side of the moving blade 2 and the stationary blade 3 of a turbine comprises a hollow post 4 fixed to the casing 1, and a thermocouple 6 having a sensing part arranged in a gas intake part 5 located at the front edge thereof while spaced apart therefrom. The easing 1 and the hollow post 4 are shielded thermally, at the contact part thereof, by a heat insulating agent 7. Gas through openings 8 penetrating the front and rear edges of the hollow post 4 are made above and below a gas intake part 5 having a temperature sensing part in the vicinity thereof. The gas through openings 8 are arranged in parallel with the gas flow in order to reduce resistance and to suppress generation of turbulence as much as possible. Since the temperature at the gas intake part 5 in the vicinity of the gas through openings 8 becomes substantially same as the temperature of gas flow passing through the gas through openings 8, temperature of gas flow can be measured accurately.
